The extraordinary world of elfs

It sounds funny but that phenomenon called intercultural shock is not applicable to me whatsoever. I cannot recall which step, but I did not experience the state placed somewhere in the middle. Could it be a feeling of homesickness? Perhaps, I am not sure.
Mostly on Sundays, I congratulate myself for having choosing Antwerp to do my Erasmus. And now, I would love to stay a bit longer but unfortunately that is not possible anymore. These two first sentences are intended to summarize how glad I am here, in this town and at Plantijnhogeschool. I strongly believe that it is people, and not only the place, the reason behind one could be happy abroad, where we the foreigners are exempted of the casual items that we have in our home countries. Maybe I was extremely lucky and I was gifted with both: great people in a lovely place.

It is never been my object to record my dreams, just to realize them. M.Ray

My own reflections
How I would forget about this place and people I met here. It is a matter of fact that this Erasmus experience is a turning point in my life. I always said it, but now I urge people to go and enjoy the Erasmus experience.

Do not walk behind me; I may not lead. Do not walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend. Albert Camus
