Some words for SURVIVAL

Botellón= gathering of friends outdoors with the aim to drink and have a nice chat; also at home if it is too cold.
Calimocho= cheap wine plus coke
Cachi, Mini, Litro= a huge glass of ‘calimocho’
Chupito= shot
Caña= tap beer
Estudiantes de la Ponti= Students of the Pontifitial University
Chapar= Study hard; normally this is translated into ‘no party’ and ‘no sleep’.
Apuntes= these are meant to be the notes you pick during lessons, but this never happens therefore we either make copies from other students’ or buy photocopies provided by teacher.
Fotocopiar= to make copies
Imprimir= to print out
Exámenes= stress!
Noche pirata= wild party. You normally use it to talk about how was your last night party.
Dándolo todo= wild party. In this case, you say this to show what you expect of the coming party night.
Empalmar= going to lessons after partying and without any sleep. This is not advisable, rather stay at home!
